Hi everyone… Im back in christchurch for a few days.. getting things organised to rent my place out and take off somewhere else.. not staying in Chch at the moment.. not sure where Im going yet..

If anyone wants paintings done,, now is a great time for me.. as my retail base is gone,, so have to rely on internet.. I do have a couple of commissions at moment.. but soon will need something to do.

The Waipara Mudhouse I realise now is not the place for me to paint in,,, a bit too far away from my home,, also,,,a few other things , but I appreciate the managers asking me… I have left two large giclee paintings up there in cafe.

I have organised a local place in Christchurch to paint in, THE BOTANICAL GARDENS CAFE. which is amongst the beautiful trees and grass with lots of birds and atmosphere.. plus people come in all the time,, which could sell me something eventually… hope the locals will feel free to visit me there… am there Wednesdays and Fridays at this stage,,, maybe more later.

Im going to North Canterbury NZ.. Waipara to be exact.. to the winery called The Mudhouse,, a beautiful

big place - huge building,, has winery, restaurant, retail shop, etc… in it,, room to have functions, concerts etc.

Im going in as Artist in Residence for a month to try it out, then maybe permanently.. looking forward to it.. will be painting in the weekends there at least and hanging work for sale etc.. available 7 days.

Its been nearly 3mths since the last big earthquake,, although we have had over 5,000 aftershocks,, quite

a few too many.. never get used to it.  Nevermind.. Im looking still for a studio to work in over the next few wks,, have some work to do but nowhere to paint.. as chch has been destroyed mostly.. am looking all over the surrounding areas for spaces,, if anyone has any ideas let me know… also am wanting to go to Europe - meeting up with clients and also Vince who is working on Queen Victoria cruiseship in Med till end July.

Well, the State of Emergency has been lifted from Christchurch now… its still dangerous,, aftershocks every day… we are on edge wondering if another big one will happen.. but try to live in love rather than fear..
